iPANEL- Initiative for a Palliative Approach in Nursing: Education and Leadership
La Description:
iPANEL is a BC research project led by Principal Investigators, Dr Kelli Stajduhar and Ms Carolyn Tayler along with a team of nursing researchers, clinicians, educators and leaders, half of whom are employed by provincial health authorities in either clinical leadership or decision-making positions. This 4-year project is funded by the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research- BC Nursing Initiative. It is aimed at supporting the nursing care team in non-specialized settings, including residential care, hospital units and at home to utilize the principles of palliative care by applying a 'palliative approach' for people who have a chronic, life limiting illness.
