Developed by Hospice Calgary staff with the assistance of a Calgary Board of Education Specialist, a high school guidance counselor, and a bereaved parent. Good Grief, Supporting the Bereaved Student is a follow-up to already existing crisis management protocols. It identifies healthy grief responses for children and teens; and offers practical suggestions for supporting bereaved students and effectively communicating with parents of bereaved students.
