A Search for Solutions: A Gathering on Palliative and End-of-Life Care for First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples

This document highlights the experience of First Nations, Inuit and Métis (FNIM) people around accessing palliative and end of life care in Canada. Challenges this community experiences along with opportunities for change and improvement are outlined within this document. It was produced following a 2016 symposium organized by GIPPEC that brought together stakeholders from the FNIM community.
