Pain Assessment for the Cognitively/Communicatively Impaired (PACCI)
Description:
The PACCI is a valid pain assessment tool for the cognitively and communicatively impaired individual. The tool consists of 30 itens divided into four categories of expression: behavioural, facial, physical, and vocal. The caregiver indicates whether or not each of these types of expressions is present after a caregiving activity has taken place.
